Creative Careers Mentorship Program
The Arts at Large Career Development Internship Program provides paid internships to Milwaukee Public Schools high school students each year. Rooted in the arts, this program equips young people with essential skills for success in creative industries and beyond such as: communication, leadership, collaboration, and self-efficacy. Interns gain hands-on experience through youth-led projects and artist assistantships.

Artist Assistantship
Our summer internship gives young artists interested in teaching the opportunity to learn directly from an artist educator, as their assistant. By the end of the six-week program, interns develop their teaching practice through daily engagement with 3rd-8th grade camp participants, classroom management and lesson planning development, and weekly check-ins with our Artist Educators. Applications open April 13th, 2026.
